Mark Gergen is an accomplished healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience across life sciences. Mr. Gergen has a proven track record of creating, defining and executing strategies that have the power to create value including strategic partnerships, IPOs and acquisitions. His background reflects broad experience across the life sciences sector and beyond including pharmaceuticals, cell-based therapeutics, diagnostics, health care services, medical devices, healthcare information technology, and software.

Mr. Gergen was the Executive Chairman and CEO of Poseida Therapeutics, Inc., a public cell and gene therapy company, prior to its sale to Roche in 2025. Previously Mr. Gergen was the COO and later a consultant for Halozyme, Inc., he was Executive Vice President and COO of Mirati Therapeutics, and the Senior Vice President of Amylin Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in his career he worked in management roles for CardioNet (which became Biotelemetry) and for Medtronic, Inc. Mr. Gergen currently serves on the boards of several private companies in the biotech and digital health arenas.

Mr. Gergen received his B.A. in Business Administration from Minot State University and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
