Allen Waldrop

Board Member | Deputy Chief Investment Officer - Private Markets, Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation


Allen Waldrop is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer - Private Markets for the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC). In this role, Mr. Waldrop oversees the Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure and Real Estate programs at APFC. Prior to being named Deputy CIO, Allen led the Private Equity program for APFC and served as interim head of Real Estate. In addition to his investment responsibilities, Mr. Waldrop works closely with APFC leadership on a broad range of operational and administrative initiatives. Mr. Waldrop also serves on the board of The Cranemere Group which is a UK-based holding company that owns a portfolio of industrial, consumer and business services investments.

Mr. Waldrop holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University, is a CFA Charterholder and a CPA (inactive). In addition, he holds the Series 7, 63 and 24 designations with FINRA. In addition to his professional roles, Mr. Waldrop has been active in his community serving on the Board of the Sacramento Children’s Home (2009 - 2014 and 2017 - 2025) and was a member of the El Dorado County Search and Rescue team (2020 - 2024).
